Welcome!
My name is Drew Marzullo, and I have been proud to serve Greenwich as a Selectman for the past two years. In seeking re-election, I am asking for your support to allow me to continue in one of the best jobs Greenwich has to offer.
As Selectman, I am proud to have been a part of many historical, exciting, and momentous occasions in Greenwich. Some highlights from the past two years include voting to approve MI status for Nathaniel Witherell and the Central Fire Station; assisting in the procurement of federal funding for Byram flood mitigation; advocating for the MISA project; and remaining committed to ensuring transparent access to the Selectman’s office. As liaison to GCTV, and with the help of a great team, we have improved program content and expanded coverage. Finally, I have embraced the hallmark of Greenwich Government: nominating qualified individuals with bi-partisan support to sit on boards and commissions.
In addition to serving as your Selectman, I also continue to serve the town as a paramedic for Greenwich Emergency Medical Service. In this role, I have the privilege of meeting residents from all walks of life and from all corners of town, which allows me a unique perspective on issues such as community health, housing, traffic, public safety, and emergency response.
As Selectman, I have translated this knowledge into progress. From Town Hall safety drills to the new Tod’s Point Emergency Radio Sign-Out program, I have used my voice as Selectman to make the town safer. If re-elected, I will continue on this path by providing first-hand knowledge of public safety and emergency response, supplemented by statistics and data-driven approaches.
Most importantly, I want to hear from you. One of my greatest joys as Selectman has been solving ordinary problems brought to me by town residents, whether helping guide people to the right resources to fix a nuisance pothole or ensuring snow removal for local businesses. In addition, I am so grateful for all of the support I have received as Selectman. We have a system of government that relies on volunteers, and I have both utilized and relied on so many qualified people for advice since taking office.
